FYI: For those wanting to vend food, you can still get your food vendor permit from the city but the cost is now twice what it would be if you'd applied more than 2 weeks before the festival.

Note

Please take into consideration that we are only interested in hand made goods. Applications for commercial products and/or mass produced goods will not be considered for the Urban Art Festival. Thanks for your understanding.

Booth space/Fees:
All vendor spaces are laid out to accommodate 10x10 Tents and cost $50. Additional space is considerd upon request. You must have a permit form Tacoma to conduct business, therefore your vendor fee includes you under our multi-vendor license  (all vendors must have this general permit from the city).

Food Vendors:

We are accepting applications for organic, vegetarian and vegan food vendors. Booth sizes for food vending are approximately 10'x10', with some accommodation made as necessary. Vending fee is ($75). Food vendors must file for temporary food service permits in Pierce County (click here to apply) . More information will be provided when your application has been accepted. If needed, you will be assigned a space that can accommodate a vehicle. Please be specific on your application. Food vendors will be provided with a minimal amount of electricity. All power requirements (volts, amps or watts) must be specified on the application.  Quiet generators (60dB or less) are encouraged.

Arrival / Parking:
Vendors must be set up before noon on Sunday (day of Festival). Most vendors choose to arrive around 8am in the morning, and this is generally preferred by festival coordinators.

Location:
All vendors will be allotted their space prior to the Festival day. The locations of the booths will be in the streets above the park. There are a couple of spaces available in the park, and we are currently deciding on how to utilize them. If you are interested in these spaces please let us know.

Electricity:
No guarantee of power is provided unless arranged specifically in advance. Be creative in finding ways to reduce your needs, and to provide your own lighting. Generators are generally not allowed, unless an arrangement has been made. List specific power needs on the Vendor Application, and we will try to accommodate requests.  For solar alternatives, please email Solar Richard, a friend of the Urban Art Festival.

Important Reminders:

• Dogs are allowed on the premises but with a restriction; you MUST have your dog on a leash at all times. Ferrets are welcome. :)
• No smoking paraphernalia of any kind is allowed for sale. Any paraphernalia for sale will be confiscated, and you will lose your vending privilege.
• Be prepared for all types of weather. Strong winds and rain are always possible.
