Uma Gita is a new electro-acoustic duo from Tacoma.
Their music is influenced by classical, world, free jazz
and ambient electronica.
Meredith Connie is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from Australia.
James R. Cobb III is a composer/percussionist from Texas.
Together, they are exploring new methods of creative dialogue.
At the Urban Arts Festival, they will emphasize free improvisation
and sound art for all curious listeners.
